众所周知,土工材料是适用于岩石工程中的合成材料,大家应该还不知道,他的学名叫“高分子聚合物”。早在1920年左右,有关部门就生产出人工合成材料,但用于建筑材料时到了30年后才使用,早期的主要产品是透水的有纺和无纺土工织物,随着科技的不断发展又发明了不透水的土工膜。随着发展与需求,又发展制造出高强加筋用的土工格栅和其他土工产品。由于种类的不断增多,土工织物已经不能概括这些产品的含义,许多国家出现了不同的替代名称,土工材料一词用的最多,但通俗还是叫它为土工织物。

As early as around 1920, relevant departments produced artificial synthetic materials, but they were not used for building materials until 30 years later. The early main products were permeable woven and non-woven geotextiles, and with the continuous development of technology, impermeable geotextiles were invented. Due to the continuous increase in types, geotextiles are no longer able to summarize the meaning of these products, and many countries have introduced different alternative names. The term 'geotextile' is most commonly used, but it is still commonly referred to as geotextile.
